We were so excited to photograph Kristen and Clay’s wedding day on June 22, 2018. Their love is so sweet and genuine. They had an amazing vision for their wedding. They picked a beautiful venue in Southwest Michigan called MillCreek Wilde. The venue was lush and rustic (rustic in a beautiful and sophisticated way with all the best woodsy details!). Kristen’s daughter Sadie played an important roll in the entire day. You’ll see below she stayed right by her moms side during the ceremony and you could just see the special bond that her and Clay had. The ceremony was officiated by a close friend, a singing bowl calmed the guests to start the ceremony, a beautiful sand ceremony between the three of them, and heartfelt personally written vows. A delicious vegetarian meal was served, a campfire burned throughout the evening and everyone made smores around the fire,and there was an all 80’s dance party! We loved every detail of this day.
